A man, all laboratories of the world!
Keywords:
Igino Santo Damo, Professor model, Physics teachingAbstract
This is the ground zero article of a scientific publication that aims to encourage the production and dissemination of academic knowledge, with an emphasis on the intellectual contribution of students and professors from the technology and natural science courses at the University of Caxias do Sul (UCS). In addition, it is also intended to be a recognition of Professor Igino Santo Damo, who has taken science to generations and generations of students in the Serra Gaúcha region based on his love for teaching in general and for physics in particular. The benefits of his knowledge and charisma were kept largely in minds and laboratories that made him a unique and historical figure for the University of Caxias do Sul and for the Educational Foundation of the Region of Vinhedos (FERVI). This article is organized into three sections: a historical review of Professor Igino's professional career, highlighting his partnership with UCS; an analysis of its methods, production, and achievements; and, finally, a humble tribute from those responsible for this publication, which will be presented in the conclusion.
