This article aims to analyze how the integration of ESG practices redefines sustainability, social responsibility and corporate governance in tourism. The general objective is to understand the impacts and benefits of adopting ESG practices in tourism enterprises. The specific objectives include identifying the most common ESG practices in the sector, assessing the challenges and opportunities faced by tourism companies, analyzing whether ESG strategy relates to the Sustainable Development Goals [SDGs] and analyzing success stories in the implementation of these strategies. The research question is: “How is the adoption of ESG practices influencing the sustainable management of tourism enterprises?”. The methodology employed involves a bibliographical review of academic literature, scientific articles and recent case studies.
