The voice of Larissa Almeida

Abstract

Larissa Almeida is an important reference in creative tourism, especially for being co-founder of Recria – National Network of Experiences and Creative Tourism as the result of ten years of her work in projects with the third sector. She recently released the book “Turismo criativo: Uma viagem por culturas, encontros e experiências”, by the publishing house Bambual. These reasons led to the conversation with Larissa Almeida, which took place in early June 2022, in a virtual room. It was an open interview, recorded on tape, which was then transcribed, and the text was revised and approved by her. The objective of this methodological option was to produce a document on the creative economy in Brazil, which can be used as a primary source by other researchers who focus on the subject.
