The Impacts of Covid-19 Pandemic at the Host Services of Aracati [Brazil]

Abstract

A number of economic sectors in Brazil and around the World had their activities afected by the context of the Covid-19 Pandemic, among these the Tourism. This research aims to identify and to analyze the Covid-19 Pandemic impacts on the touristic sector of Aracati Town in Ceará State [Brazil] specifically at the host services during 2021. The framework methodology to this theme will be qualitative based in empirical survey with non-probability sampling. The study results proved that the Pandemic afected, considerably, the host services chosen to do this work. These host places have had diverse damages, but also unveiled their marketing strategies in the face of this crisis.
