This study integrates global citizenship model (GC) with technology acceptance model (TAM) to understand motivations behind tourists’ belief as well as attitudes for preference on destinations with green smart technology (GST)-based management systems. The extended model was tested through PLS-SEM on the sample of 580 participants of those experienced a leisure activity in phase of 9 months. Results have yielded that GC has significantly predicted perceived ease of use (PEOU), perceived usefulness (PU) and attitude toward destinations with green smart technologies based management systems (AGS) two of which (PU and AGS) in turn was seen to enhance behavioral intention towards green smart technologies (BIGS). PEOU was also seen to predict both PEOU and PU. the most powerful predictive ability of the model is for the relation for the effect of GC on PEOU. Also, the role of PEOU on PU as well as effect of PU over AGS were relations of pattern owning the most predictive ability. Various theoretical and practical implications were built upon findings of interest.
