Ecossistemas de Turismo Rural:
uma análise bibliométrica

Los ecosistemas son entornos que promueven articulaciones entre diferentes actores para el desarrollo social y económico. El turismo, una de las actividades más complejas a nivel global, incluye el turismo rural como un vasto campo por explorar. Su objetivo es valorar y preservar las costumbres, las regiones y el patrimonio cultural y natural del campo, donde los turistas se alojan en fincas, hoteles y posadas, contribuyendo al desarrollo sostenible de estas zonas y generando empleo e ingresos para la población local. Aunque relevante, faltan estudios sistemáticos sobre este ecosistema. Esta investigación utiliza una revisión sistemática para analizar los ecosistemas del turismo rural, identificando temas en investigación hasta el 06/2024. Se encontraron 146 artículos con las palabras “ecosistema, turismo y rural”, resultando 86 registros para el análisis final. Con “ecosistema, innovación, turismo y rural”, se identificaron 13 artículos más, quedando 9 para el análisis final. En total, fueron 95 artículos en inglés, en el campo de las ciencias sociales. Los artículos fueron extraídos de la base de datos Scopus y evaluados mediante el software VOSviewer. La metodología evaluó citas, co-citas, palabras clave, autores, periódicos, universidades y países. El estudio identificó ocho grupos temáticos: servicios ecosistémicos, turismo rural, desarrollo rural, sostenibilidad, valor, desarrollo sostenible y turismo. Se encontró una brecha significativa en la literatura sobre ecosistemas de turismo rural, sin revisiones completas e integradas disponibles. El artículo agrega valor al tema de los ecosistemas de turismo rural al analizar registros desde los primeros en 1993, demostrando un gran vacío en los estudios sobre el tema, sugiriendo futuras investigaciones integradas sobre el tema.
