Ecossistemas de Turismo Rural:
uma análise bibliométrica

O turismo rural tem se consolidado, em âmbito global, como uma estratégia relevante para a valorização e preservação dos costumes, das regiões e do patrimônio cultural e natural das áreas rurais, desempenhando um papel fundamental no desenvolvimento sustentável dessas localidades e na promoção da geração de emprego e renda para as populações locais. Sua gestão, no entanto, varia conforme os diferentes contextos socioeconômicos e ambientais, configurando-se como um desafio multidimensional. Ecossistemas, enquanto espaços que propiciam interação entre diversos atores sociais e econômicos, exercem um papel essencial no desenvolvimento integrado e sustentável. O turismo, dada sua natureza complexa e multifacetada, destaca-se como uma das atividades mais desafiadoras no cenário global. Nesse contexto, a síntese de dados provenientes de diferentes fontes contribui para uma compreensão mais abrangente e refinada dos fenômenos estudados, promovendo um avanço significativo no campo de pesquisa. O objetivo da presente pesquisa foi mapear a produção de conhecimento sobre os ecossistemas relacionados ao turismo rural. Para isso, foi adotada uma abordagem metodológica de análise bibliométrica, com abrangência temporal de 1993 a 2024, utilizando-se a base de dados Scopus. O software VOSviewer foi empregado como ferramenta de apoio à análise dos dados coletados. Os resultados do mapeamento científico indicaram a formação de oito clusters temáticos: serviços ecossistêmicos, turismo rural, desenvolvimento rural, sustentabilidade, valor, multifuncionalidade, desenvolvimento sustentável e turismo. Esses clusters representam as principais áreas de convergência entre o turismo rural e os conceitos de ecossistemas e sustentabilidade, evidenciando as múltiplas dimensões que permeiam esse campo de estudo no contexto acadêmico.
