Open Access Policy (Diamond Open Access)

The Brazilian Journal of Management and Innovation adopts the Diamond Open Access model, ensuring immediate, free, and unrestricted access to all published content.

1. Free and Immediate Access

All articles published by the journal are made freely available online without subscription or access fees. Readers may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, in accordance with the terms of the license adopted by the journal.

2. No Fees for Authors

The journal does not charge any submission, evaluation, processing, or publication fees (Article Processing Charges – APCs). Authors are not required to pay any fees at any stage of the editorial process.

3. Licensing Terms

Articles are published under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International – CC BY 4.0. that permits sharing and reuse of the content, provided that proper attribution is given to the authors and to the original publication source.

4. Copyright

Authors retain copyright of their work while granting the journal the right of first publication. Authors are permitted to deposit the published version of the article in institutional, thematic, or personal repositories, provided that full bibliographic reference to the original publication is included.

5. Digital Preservation

The journal adopts digital preservation mechanisms to ensure the long-term accessibility, integrity, and availability of its published content.

7. Institutional Support and Governance

The Brazilian Journal of Management and Innovation is maintained by the Universidade de Caxias do Sul (UCS), with institutional support from EDUCS (Editora da Universidade de Caxias do Sul), the UCS Library System, UCS Journals System, and the Graduate Program in Administration (Programa de Pós-Graduação em Administração – PPGA/UCS).

The journal operates under the academic responsibility of the Graduate Program in Administration and benefits from the editorial, technical, and infrastructural support provided by the University and its publishing and library units.

As a Diamond Open Access journal, it does not generate revenue from subscriptions or publication fees. Its activities are supported through institutional funding and academic resources provided by Universidade de Caxias do Sul.
