Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • Read the Aims and Scope to make sure your manuscript is suitable for this Journal.
  • The submission has neither been previously published, nor is it under consideration for publication anywhere else.
  • The submission has been approved by all authors of the manuscript.
  • Permission has been obtained for the use of any or all copyrighted material from other sources (including the Internet).
  • Manuscript has been spell-checked and grammar-checked.
  • Make sure to submit your manuscript in Microsoft Word format or Open Office document file format.
  • Make sure that the text and graphical elements in the manuscript and supplementary data files follow the styles provided in the Templates
  • If it contains special characters, equations, or any precise formatting that needs to be retained, please submit a PDF of your manuscript for reference in addition to an editable word version.
  • Make sure all references are appropriately cited and that the complete reference list appears at the end of the manuscript, including DOI number.
  • Make sure that the Graphical Abstract is provided in the required dimensions and resolutions. The GA must be inserted in the main manuscript and also uploaded as an image file.
  • Make sure that the authorship statement (CRediT) is provided as a separate and editable file.
  • Journal policies have been reviewed.

Please submit articles via the web submission and peer review system. If you have any questions about your submission, please do not hesitate to contact the Editorial Office. Authors are welcome to enquire about the suitability of their work by sending an abstract or paper prior to submission.
