Teaching discursive reading and the phenomenon of misinformation

Abstract

Este artigo é resultado de uma pesquisa em andamento no curso de doutorado do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Linguagem e Ensino da Universidade Federal de Campina Grande. O trabalho tem como objetivo abordar uma proposta de ensino de leitura crítica a partir de fontes primárias de arquivo no ensino superior. Para tanto, foi aplicado um questionário sociocultural aos alunos de graduação do curso de História da referida instituição e utilizamos Bakhtin (2010, 2011) como suporte teórico, bem como estudos de Araújo (2020, 2021), Marques (2023, 2024), Argemí (2019) e outros pesquisadores diante de um cenário preocupante em que o fenômeno da desinformação tem se destacado no século XXI. Os resultados apontaram para a necessidade de aprofundamento do estudo das leituras críticas e discursivas na formação de professores, levando em consideração a demanda por pesquisas e leituras desenvolvidas na academia pelos alunos.

PhD student in the Postgraduate Program in Language and Teaching at the Federal University of Campina Grande. Master's degree in the Postgraduate Program in Teacher Training at the State University of Paraíba (UEPB); Graduated in Letters with a specialization in Portuguese Language from the State University of Paraíba (UEPB); Specialist in Portuguese Language Teaching from the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG); Specialist in Applied Linguistics from the Integrated Faculty of Patos (FIP); Portuguese Language Teacher in elementary school classes; Intern teacher for two semesters at the State University of Paraíba (UEPB); Professor at the Faculty of the Santo André Educational Complex-FACESA; Areas of activity are: Portuguese Language, Discursive Linguistics, Information Science and Archival Science; Researcher of linguistic studies, active in the line: language teaching and teacher training under the theoretical axis of Bakhtin and his circle. Eliete Correia dos Santos, Universidade Federal de Campina Grande (UFCG)

Post-doctorate in Contemporary Education from UFPE - PNPD-CAPES. PhD in Linguistics from PROLING/UFPB. Completed her sandwich doctorate (Advanced Doctoral Internship) at the University of Porto - PT, in the interface with the Information Science and Linguistics Course. Master in Language and Teaching from UFCG. Graduated in Letters and Archives. Currently, she is a professor at the State University of Paraíba - of the Archives Course, coordinator and permanent professor of PPGDARQ-UEPB/UFPB. Collaborating Professor of PPGLE-UFCG. Experience in the area of ​​Linguistics, Educational Technologies and Archives, working mainly on the following themes: Educational-cultural actions in archives, language and Archives, educational technologies, academic genres, language and teaching, literacy, Bakhtinian studies. Currently, her focus and study is on written production in academic genres, with an emphasis on Bakhtinian studies, educational-cultural actions and decolonial methodologies in archives. Her research and extension work is focused on the field of Archival Science and Linguistics, in the development of the SESA Project (Seminars on Archival Knowledge), whose work is carried out in international academic cooperation with the University of Porto, the University of Coimbra and the Polytechnic Institute of Porto. She is the leader of the research group Archival Science and Society - GPAS, whose research line is Archive, Language and Memory. She is also a member of the Research Group on Enunciative and Socio-Interactional Linguistics - GPLEI, working on the line of Language, teaching and technology.
